PROGRAMS

As a Reggio-inspired school, Wild Dream Educare believes that environment is the third teacher. Our environment is intentionally designed to support students in creating a sense of order, classification, and organization for all of this input. We believe the aesthetically rich environment will not only engage the student’s attention and stimulate their mind, but also cultivate their morality and improve their aesthetic creativity.

MUSIC PROGRAM

We offer emergent piano / ukulele music sessions whenever the children are interested in it. Music and dance movements increase children's sensory development,
improve literacy and numeracy.
Music is a mood lifter; it also helps children build coordination and develop their vocabulary.

REGGIO-INSPIRED FREE PLAY

"Free play gives children an outlet to express their emotions and feelings and helps them develop a sense of who they are."— KaBOOM.
We offer different scene play based on children's current interests, and gradually adding more elements to promote a long-term engagement.
Free play develops coordination, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills. Play builds the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

ARTS / CRAFTS

Children are provided with different kinds of painting / drawing materials for them to express their moment of feelings, and practice fine motor skills. Drawing is a kind of language, and documentation. It is a way of communication.

ACTIVE PLAY / SCREEN TIME

To support children’s healthy physical development, we are cautious about prolonged sitting activities. We follow the Vancouver Coastal Health guideline for children to have a minimum of 120 minutes of active play throughout the day.

We have an iPad to document children's photos. Children are welcomed to view the photos together with teachers. Other than that, we do not offer any screen time for the children during our operating hours.
